For the Love of Bikes

Buying a bicycle for your child can be overwhelming. How often is the bike too big or too heavy? So many aspects to think of, so you need to arm yourself with information before you hit the shops to make a safe, practical choice. A child also needs plenty of energy and stamina through nutrients.

Firstly the correct size is essential as your child needs to be able to sit on the saddle with the balls of both feet on the ground, and reach the handlebars with slightly bent arms. The bike needs two braking systems, including a back-pedal brake. Check that the bike has a chain guard covering the chain wheel and upper run of the chain. Pedals need to have tread on both surfaces, and check to make sure the handle grips are secure.

Also we should take the bike for a test ride to ensure it's comfortable. Of course the right colour is a must for a child.

Mannatech products are at the cutting edge of nutritional science and have produced PhytoBears and GlycoBears giving children the added benefit of safety and effectiveness of vitamins and minerals and important phytochemicals.
