Disposable Versus Cloth

The wonder of ever evolving cloth nappies!
My three children had a successful babyhood living with ordinary terry toweling cloth nappies, with me using NapiSan and a bucket. Nappies soaked or dried overnight for the next day. Never used a dryer.
Today we can have a cotton nappy costing $22.00, organic cotton @ $24.50 or Bamboozie nappies @ $26.50 each. Wow! These Bamboozie are made from highly sustainable bamboo fibre. Then there is the biodegradable liners @ $18 for 200, reusable up to three times each.
Also, two sizes: up to 12 months and then 12 months to toilet-trained.
While disposable nappies clog landfill, release methane into the atmosphere and take aeons to break down, cloth nappies require water and energy for washing and often end up in the dryer.
